Maesteg's Mini festival Of Rugby went off with great success yesterday both on and off the pitch. It was great to have so many teams turn up and a great big warm thank you to Seven Sisters Junior Rugby Football Club for making that long journey to join us. Very unlucky on the field of play we hope you return next year to try again. As for the winners in the U8 section that was Cymavon runners up were Tonmawr, Winners U9 age group were Ystradgynlais runners up Tondu. Winners U10 Ystradgynlais runners up Canton. Winners U11 Maesteg Welsh runners up Pencoed, Winners U12 Maesteg Welsh runners up Bonymaen. Congratulations to all winners and runners up and well played to every team that entered see you all next year we hope. More congratulations and commiserations to the U16's who were in Ynasabul for their U16 Tournament Maesteg Welsh were beaten in the final by Ynasabul unlucky lads.

The minnies travelled to Treharris on the weekend 28.04.02 for their annual Tournament and Congratulations are in order, three of the four teams traveling won the Tournament. So well done to the 12's, 11's, and 10's and hard luck to the nines who finished second
