Stokesley low maintenance garden

Brief: Create a very low maintenance back garden for a contemporary dormer bungalow

The garden was cleared and the greenhouse screened off with trellis to form a utility area.

A patio area was then created outside of the conservatory and the garden terraced to create two levels. The terracing walls were formed from reclaimed railway sleepers with a pond built into the wall and the garden top dressed with gravel.

The garden was then planted through the gravel to soften the hard landscaping.

After a few years the owners sold the property and moved to new estate in Stokesley and one of their first decisions was to ask Mark back to landscape the new garden.
