One fixture completed

Leckford finally got a game in...and got beaten. Their game at Chawton last Saturday was far from one sided and only a remarkable innings by Phil Miles stood between Leckford and a winning start. Read the report.

Under 13s withdraw from competition

A lack of available players has forced the club to cancel its under 13s fixtures. Those players that were available will join the under 15s squad.

Outdoor practice

The weather hasn't been too helpful of late and has prevented all but one of Leckford's friendly fixtures taking place. It has also meant that outdoor practice has only happened for juniors.

When the sun shines again, practice is at the ground on Thursday evenings from 5.30pm. Junior practice starts then with Leckford's qualified coaches and the seniors practice from 7pm until it gets too dark or they get a thirst on.

Hampshire colts to play at Leckford

After the success of its hosting of Hampshire Colts fixtures in 2003 and 2004, Leckford will this year host two fixtures for the county's under 13 team.

A barbecue and raffle will take place at Bakers Farm and all are welcome to attend.
