Welcome to our little family restaurant.

We thought it would be a good idea if there was a little page somewhere in the menu where you could look to for advice and information. After all, Korean food and culture is a relatively new and undiscovered territory in the restaurants of the U.K. We have been established here since 1985. Some of you may have tried Korean food before, and for those, the choices will not appear to be so bewildering. But for the majority, I suspect that a little guidance may be of use.

The Menu is split into 4 sections. The First 3 sections are set meals; 2-Course Set, Korean Special Menu, and Set Banquet respectively. These can be ordered individually, or in groups, when we suggest that you try as many different dishes from each course as the menu allows, and to share. The 4th A La Carte menu has Starters, Soups, and then the Main dishes, which have been grouped into the different style of dishes with brief explanations.

Food is a very important part of Korean culture, For example, If a guest arrives at ones house it is considered polite and custom to ask if the person has yet eaten. If the guest indicated that he/she has not, then the host should provide a meal as quickly as possible. Meal times are a great social occasion and so food is ordered and often shared between the diners.
Traditionally, All the dishes of food would all come together, and side dishes, pickles and main dishes would be placed in the centre of the table and shared. The great thing about this is the social sharing aspect, and the wide selection of dishes to taste. If you wish to try this style of meal, please order from our Korean Special Menu.

In modern times, meals are presented in courses, and so, Set Banquet Menus have been produced which will showcase the variety, quality and taste which our kitchen has produced since the opening. Don't just take our word for it, publications such as the Michelin Guide, the Good Food guide, and other such publications have consistently shown that we are the best Korean Restaurant in the U.K.
