I cannot believe what I have just done! I had spent the last three hours going round the supermarket. It took so long because I was shopping for the whole month. I had to dodge a few friends while I was there, otherwise they would have had me talking for ages about the old times. I joined the end of the queue for the checkout and counted that I was twelfth in line, so that was a boring wait. I finally reached the checkout and loaded my shopping into carrier bags, which took an age to do as well. Then the girl asked for the money and it was at that point I realised that I'd left my purse in the kitchen back at home.
