http://http://www.users.on.net/~homeland/pudney.htm | 28-02-2009 - 13:04 Hi,
I found your pudsey tree very interesting.
Our name changed from Podeney to Pudney.
The roger Podeney may of been a knight of King Richard in the 1300.s.
In your tree there is a Roger pudsey around the same birth date.
Roger's line seems to be missing.
I've noticed that the Pudsey's often called themselves Podesay and Pudesay. |
John Allport
cj.allport@ntlworld.com | 23-10-2008 - 20:34 I am not sure if I descended from your tree My Allports all lived in the St Annes area of Soho London.
My earliest is James Allport married to Ann Harris 1841 |

cullwickgrem@yahoo.com | 10-10-2006 - 01:06 I note Jeremiah Smith is teh son of John Smith. I wonder if he is John Smith (Coven) - one of the 27 worthies of Darlington St Methodist Church in 19th century Wolverhampton.
I have a small photo of John Smith (Coven) as he is shown alongside my own gt gt grandfather Edward Cullwick (1819-1869) |

ritaallport@yahoo.co.uk | 03-02-2006 - 16:08 I am very impressed with all of your research. I belong to the Allport family but as yet cannot forge a link to your Allports although all of their names are familiar to me like old freinds. How have you managed to go back so far? I am in awe of you and your patience. |
