Jude Wilson - Raising money for Queenscourt Hospice
Thank you for taking the time to look at my website.
The aim of the site is to invite you to join in with any of the events and fund raising ideas I arrange in order to raise funds for Queenscourt Hospice in Southport - "Where life is for living."
As some of you will know, my partner Mike Butterworth died in June 2006 from skin cancer. Karen Groves at Queenscourt Hospice handled his palliative care. Karen and her team are truly amazing, as I know some of you have painfully experienced. Without their care Mike would not have been able to live the last eight months of his life to the full, which he did with his usual gusto. I, therefore, want to thank Queenscourt Hospice and the best way to do this is to raise funds in order that the great work can continue.
Some of you will know that, in order to raise as much money as possible, I have signed up for a charity trek along the Great Wall of China in September/October 2009, in aid of Queenscourt Hospice.
