I enjoy doing a variety of different things in my spare time.

I have always had a passion for music, theatre and the arts, but I also really enjoy the outdoors, in particular rock-climbing and sailing (Junior Sailor award – Lufthansa Regatta 1993, Interviewed twice on television for sailing).

I also enjoy literature, and am an author of a multi-cultural children’s book, The Market, published by the University of Natal Press, 1997.

My professional and recreational memberships are:

-Royal Natal Yacht Club, of which I have been a member for ten years.

-Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.
