Mileages are approximate and hopefully overestimated! 

The actual start / finish locations are generally based on the largest town after around 120 miles.  Scotlandwell and Littleborough are the exceptions and should of been Kinross and Rochdale but I found good accommodation at both places so made slight tweaks.

Although day 7 is stated as ending in St Austell I'm actually stopping overnight near Mevagissey.  Depending on how I feel I'll either ride the extra miles down the coast or get picked up by car somewhere that I can start from the next day.

Mountsorrel?  Well that's where I live so I'm not going to pass up the opportunity to spend a night at home am I now?

The last three days seem a little lopsided but I'd originally intended the trip as over seven days.  Unfortunately this didn't really work out so I changed it around to ensure the last day was a nice easy one (fingers crossed).

In many ways my route isn't the "classic" route as most choose South to North and tend to ride a little further North through Cornwall and Devon.  To be honest if we all chose the same roads we'd never discover anything so only time will tell if I've done the right thing or not!
