Dorset Fossilised Wood

The fossilised wood above was found by my son Tom at Charmouth beach. We nearly lost it when it was placed in our centrally heated caravan. Over the course of a couple of days it dried out too quickly and the wood started to crack and split. Once home it was stabilised with watered down PVA glue.
