Ian's Review
The last express is a pc adventure game which you place in the first person point and click style that has been done so may times, and yet this is one of the most original games I have played.

Words cannot describe the feeling you get whilst playing the game. You feel like you really are on that train, helped by the excellent backgrounds, character animation & superb voice acting and the fact that it plays out in real time - a well thought out & excellently executed element. When you talk to people you really are interested to hear what they have to say, and the game actually makes you think hard, putting together the pieces to work out why everyone is on the train and what they are planning. Even when I got stuck I still wanted to play it again and again, and now i have finished I still play it because it is so cinematic you can watch it more than once, even though you know what to do. Also I find that you discover small little clues that you missed before. Its also very interesting to watch what characters did early in the game (before you solved it) & fit what they are doing to what you then know. I think the main thing that sets it apart from other excellent adventures is that you really have to investigated and solve real clues. You have to first understand each of the characters & their objectives before you can solve puzzles and progress. So in a way you must learn what you must do for yourself, and only then can you set about solving it. I think it is unfair just to label The Last Express a game, its also an Experience which non-gamers can enjoy because of its murder mystery, historical and real time elements.
