Two parties for children were organised by the Hethersett Millennium
Committee as part of the Village Millennium Celebrations. These were
held on Sunday, 14th May, in Hethersett Village Hall. One party was
for children aged 4 to 6 at 11.15 am, the second, for older children
aged 7 to 10 at 2.00pm. Both parties lasted two hours and the format
for each was similar. The parties started with children's entertainer
Steve Sausage, then party food and drink and finally further
entertainment by Steve.
In total 80 children attended the parties, fewer than had been expected, but those who did come were entertained excellently by Steve and judging from the smiling faces and happy chatter thoroughly enjoyed themselves. |
