Aniston knew from the age of twelve that she wanted to become an actress. She trained at Manhattan’s High School of Performing Arts. After she received her qualifications she appeared in several "Off Broadway" Productions before moving to California. It was here that she obtained the much-loved part of Rachel.

In 1989 she obtained her first TV role in a show called "Molloy". She also has had regular roles on TV programmes including "Ferris Bueller" and "The Edge". Aniston has guest starred on "Quantum Leap" and "Burke's Law" and had a recurring role on "Herman's Head" Due to the success of Friends she has completed several movies including: ·"She’s The One" ·"Picture Perfect" ·"Till there was you" ·"Object of my Affection"
