Haworthia                                    H truncata v truncata

00120 Dysselsdorp North of town

Of all the Haworthia truncata forms, the plants from VDV 120 north of Dysselsdorp, are the most robust. The older plants sucker quite prolifically. Many plants have attractive irregular leaf edges. There is great variation within the population. Pic 0012002 shows some plants growing in the open, exposed to the sun during the dry summer months. It is amazing how some of the plants, that look terribly scorched, and on the point of dying, during summer, recover again after a good autumn rainfall
