Affinity towards H mucronata v inconfluence, but darker green, and the leaves a bit thicker. I have only seen two localities of H habdomadis in the Seven Weeks Poort. The plants at the two localities differ somewhat. A locality slightly to the north shows greater a spination of the leaves.
