On Saturday 15th July 2000 Halesworth Gallery committee members and artists Bob Linney and Paul Cope organised a workshop for local children in the Roots 66 Part One exhibition. It was an opportunity for children to spend time looking at the works in the exhibition in more detail and make some art work in the gallery.

We started by drawing the Elizabeth Frink bronze sculpture Horse and Rider using charcoal on large paper.

Drawing took a lot of concentration.
The resulting drawings were pinned up on the wall and looked very good.
