Count Duckula follows the adventures of the latest in the long line of vampire ducks, who has one particularly unusual characteristic - he's vegetarian. This is thanks to a mistake by his bumbling Nanny, a huge hen with a penchant for walking through walls, who inserted tomato ketchup into the potion required to reincarnate the vampire, rather than the required blood. The adventures follow Duckula, Nanny, his butler Igor, who gently tries to steer Duckula on to a path of nastiness, and his arch-enemy, vampire hunter Dr Von Goosewing ("ze greatest wampire hunter in ze world!!").
Dangermouse is the greatest secret agent in the world. James Bond? Pah, we spit on his face. Dangermouse resides in his base, secretly located in a post box in Baker Street, with his hapless assisstant Penfold ("oo 'eck"). Guided by Colonel K, they battle against Baron Silas Greenback, his henchman Stiletto ("si, si Barone"), and the Baron's pet caterpillar, Nero. This show had a major following in the UK and US, and proved popular with people of all ages - apparently there was a Monty Pyhton-esque humour, with hidden references and satirical swipes that adults could enjoy, while kids loved the action and slapstick. I'M DESPERATE TO SEE IT AGAIN!!!
