GLW outdoors summer party  -  we meet outside Great Portland Street tube station to head towards Regents Park. It's a "picnic" kind of thing so you are welcome to bring along food, drinks, blankets, etc. as well as reading material "to enjoy" (as opposed to "to discuss").

Spare Change Books feat  -  an evening of spoken word railing against, among other things, the occupation of Palestine and the US-sponsored ethnic cleansing of the Holy Land. Group member Hugh Mulhall reads together with other writers & artists (e.g. Jeremy Hardy).

Gay's the word: talk to writers about their work: David Watkins (a member of our group) reads and discusses his short story in The Gay Times Book of Short Stories: The Next Wave. Unfortunately it  clashes with the group's regular meeting (at the usual venue, 7.30pm).
Neil Ludwick's play shortlisted
STEAM by group member Neil Ludwick has been shortlisted in the Play Section of the London Writers' Competition.
