June 2007 update: I have bene unable to access this page for two years, but now I have the ability to finally say… that I have no plans for major updates in the future. (Sorry. Thought you should know.) Enjoy it for historical purposes (both the game shows and the antiquated HTML work!) and if anything changes, you’ll be the first to know. Thanks for 10 years of fun!- Chris
The 3rd edition of The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows, by Steve Ryan, David Schwartz and Fred Wostbrock, is available at your local bookstore. Published by Facts on File. It has been referenced frequently in the making of this site, although much of the site predates the book.
All photos, sounds, and such herein are properties of their respective production companies. No challenge to their ownership is implied. This site is non-profit - actually, it was a money-losing hobby. Any original material on this site is Copyright 1994-2007, Chris L! Productions, or the listed author. Don't steal. That's bad. (And that line worked so well…)
I welcome all e-mail feedback and suggestions for site additions, but strongly recommend reading the FAQ first. Reach me at "chris" at "chris-lambert" "dot-com."
About the Webmaster: Chris Lambert, 30-something, launched this site on Oct. 1, 1994 as the first page dedicated to TV game shows on the then-sparse Web. The Indiana University alum and Indianapolis resident is an experienced radio d.j./sportscaster/announcer, but is currently doing something else. His dream remains to host a game show, and is accepting bookings. :) Christa, his ex-girlfriend who's still a nice person, has created several of the page's logos.
