Felix The Cat
Movie cartoon cat created by Pat Sullivan and animated by Otto Messmer. He appeared in Feline Follies in 1919 for Paramount. Felix was the star of the first "talkie" cartoon (one year before Mickey Mouse began to talk). Felix was also used in the first television test broadcasts in 1928 by NBC.
