She came to me a bundle of fur
Oh so naughty she was such a cur
She'd tug and she'd pull with all of her might
Come seeking me out when not in sight
Her love shone through her dark almond eyes
She leapt in my heart thats no surprise
Running up as if she'd missed me so
Even if i had left just 2 minutes ago
Licking my face covered in puppy spit
Cleaning my ears never missed a bit
So short was her life here but what love she did show
Now shes in dog heaven and i miss her so
An old fool i am to cry without fear
Cos i dont care what they say she's worth ever tear....
