The following videos are the menus designed and created by myself for exclusive use on my showreel. Based on the spaceship Discovery One from Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey, these menus formed the navigational backbone of my disc, with each part of the ship representing a section of the showreel. |

The first of the three visualisations takes the viewer from the pod-bay through to the inner airlock. This served as my transition from Main Menu to DVD Titles Menu. Right click on the picture to download the video

In the techniques used for broadcasting, the quality of a signal is reported on two scales; the first is for signal strength, and the second for signal clarity. Both these scales range from one to five, where one is the worst and five is the best. These numbers are separated with the word "by". Five by five therefore means a signal that has excellent strength and perfect clarity — the most understandable signal possible.
