Home / Away performance
This is again a season-long factor, and is simply a comparison of how well the home team has done at home, and the away team has done away. For example;

Burnley at home - Won 6, Drawn 1, Lost 1
Blackpool away -  Won 1, Drawn 2, Lost 5

The indication is that Burnley are strong on home soil, and Blackpool are weak away.

These statistics could further be translated into percentages, to see what percentage chance the home team has of winning at home against a random team from the same division, or the away team has of winning away against a random team from the same division.

Burnley, 8 home games;  75% Home wins, 12.5% Draws, 12.5% Losses
Blackpool, 8 away games; 12.5% Away wins, 25% Draws, 62.5% Losses

Again there are high percentage chances of a home win for Burnley (we should not discount the fact that there is a 37.5% chance of a result other than an away loss for Blackpool).
