After the unequivocal success of Feline Week in September 2000, Nick & Dave decided to put on a special gig in Belfarce at Christmas time to sate rampant public interest.
However, unlike the shoe-string skin-of-the-teeth affair that was Feline Week, this gig was planned as a no expense spared extravaganza - it would be more analogue than *EVER*! ... we freighted 250 kilos of musical gadgets over from David's base in Bristol for the show - including the return of the almighty bass pedals.
The chosen venue was the spacious Empire Musik Halle, formerly a church,
now refurbished as vaudeville theatre.
Once again, plucky wee Michael Staley was enlisted to help werk the drum machines (now including the phattest one in the werld, the TR808) and FXs and mixin' and stuff...
The More Analogue than EVER! set list contained all the songs from Feline Week,
plus the live debut of Industrial Estates, hot off our new Industrial Estates EP.
The Obligatory Cover Version™ this time was the Hansatastic Red Sails,
written by clever wee Brian Eno and that naughty coke-fiend David Bowie.
Our special guests on the bill included live sets from bazzin' breakbeat batterers BASIC, and Ginger Night veterans Kidd Dynamo...and on the decks between bands was Fab!ster extrordinaire, DJ Audrey Roberts.

concessionary admission for those of a ginger persausion was available at More Analogue than EVER.
The door was manned by Sir Raudhan of Ravara, a master of the Art of Battlesticks, who carefully vetted each potential punter, and assigned them an appropriate pet status sticker

The entire More Analogue than *EVER!* was recorded on 8-track equipment for posteriority, and, werking with mr EPK in his Doghaus Studios, the tapes were lovingly mixed and fashioned into an album, and released on Discs of Compactness for all the werld to hear.
