Last year, for my Mixed Media class, because I was indipendant study, I got to choose my own final prodject! Earlier that term, I had made a Leo faerie with oil pastels, and someone suggested that I make faeries for all twelve of the signs.. so I did. The thing I wanted most out of these pictures was when you look at your particular sign, you can feel a connection with it, because it is your sign. I did a LOOOOOOOT of research, and put a lot of time and effort into making these faeries! And EVERYTHING in the picture has some kind of meaning to it!
*The hair and eyes are the first and second colours (representing days of the week) I also wanted to put the roles of the zodiac on the pictures(like Leo's role is the Entertainer, or Taurus's role is the Builder, etc), but I ran out of room to stuff information into.. Ah well.. I really like how they turned out! ^_^ Media Used:

*The wings represent the sign's element (fire, earth, wind, or water)
*The position they're in reflects the personality
*The ball is made of one of the signs gems
*The symbol on the ball is the zodiac's
*The tattoo on the arm is the planet
*The lines in the background are the sign's metal
*The background colours represent a signs personality through colour
*The border tells if it's a masculine or feminine sign(black fem, white masc)
*The flowers are one of the sign's(there are many versions, so don't complain if yours isn't what you've read)
*And the lables are the sign's name and house
And btw, they're naked and all female because it's easier for me to draw girls, and if i put clothes on them, then i'd have to design outfits that would describe their personalities, and I'm wayyyyyyyyyyyy too lazy to go THAT far >.>;;;
