Open Day VII - 23rd September 2001 - 10.00am to 5.00pm

This will be the club's sixth Open Day and is intended as a showcase for our club as well as others in the Chelmsford area. There will be a variety of participation and demonstration games being run throughout the day.

Games -

SF3D - 1/20 scale power armour. Fight it out the Nuclear wasteland that was France in 1962 .

Dinosaur Survival - Will your species of Dinosaur escape the Volcano, meteor strikes and Raptors ?.

Ancients - WRG 6th Edition rules.

English Civil War - Re-fight a classic battle.

DBA - Challenge our club members to a game. See if you can beat them.

Hordes of the Things - 15mm fantasy. Challenge our club champion to a game.

Board Games - provided by the Chelmsford based club, The Wednesday Night Gamers

And more games, yet to be confirmed.

 

Other attractions -

Local traders. Confirmed are - If you do want anything, ring the traders first and they will bring it with them. This saves on postage and things being mangled in the post.

There will be the usual Bring and Buy stall, no object refused (10% of all sales will go to club funds).

Refreshments will be available at a very reasonable price. If you need alcohol, there are some pubs within staggering distance.

The club's annual painting competition (Only open to club members).
