How to get to Eden

If you approach from the A30 via Roach this is one of the special roads to Eden that you can travel along.

If you approach from Plymouth along the A390 when you reach St Blazey, you take a right turn after the railway crossing into Prideaux road, passing by the drive entrance to Nanscawen Manor House on your right, turning left at the junction and in to The Eden Project site.  Then follow the road to the car parks.

The Eden Project site is now well sign posted.

When parking the car you will be directed to one of the parking bays marked with a fruit, oranges lemons etc.  This makes it easy to remember where you parked, as the car parking areas are hidden by plants and flags.  17/11/00 Update the flags have been taken down for the winter months.

You then head to the Gateway Building along a pathways winding between flags and plants. There are some good views here of the biomes.

A land train and buggy  travel around the car parks and can take you down to the Gateway Building.  If you have trouble walking or you buy too much from the shop it will carry you back to your car.  The people at Eden think of most things to make your visit a happy and

enjoyable one.

Enjoy some wonderful refreshments in the dining area.
