up to greet the sky

Across wind swept dunes .. where..

the grass grows wild

the sun set .. then rise

upon distant lands

not yet travelled.

Hear the promise in the wind

as it whispers to our souls

Leave memories behind ..

in tall forests,

Footprints embossed upon

the mossy rocks and trails

The stars aware of our passing..

alone within the universe

Without time, only now
