level of civilization on each world is different, as are the beliefs about
technology and magic and the levels of sophistication of the technologies and
magic's of each individual world. While the races are mostly the same in every
world (with a couple notable exceptions), their societies are unique to each
individual world.

GK is a term that you will find used in Dimension Gate quite often. GK means (Gate Keeper), a GK is the same as a WoD, ST (Storyteller), D&D, DM (Dungeon Master), Etc. Etc. Etc.
