The PS3 is not a new system, to clear up rumors it is NOT coming out yet. The PS2 is just being upgraded. It will have an interal modem so you don't have to buy one for it. A built in, infered port that is not in a controller port. They also quited down the cooling fan so it is not that loud. If you ever have playied the PS2 all you can hear is that damn fan. There is no graphic or sound improvements that I have been told of. Even when this does come out you can still play the games they are developing later. This is just in Japan even there it isn't released yet. The projected dates for the Japense release is August 2003. The projected American release is in 2004-2005.
