Westover AFB on a routine training flight in preparation for
the Berlin Airlift, with a crew of only 3 it was a little over an
hour into the flight when something went tragically wrong,
the C-54 for some reason nosed over and went into a steep
uncontrollable dive, ending up in a field close to a barn at
Adams Farm, Northhampton killing all 3 crew.
