Bojack and Zangya Sprite Sheets.

Nothing major. Just added the new Bojack and Zangya sheets to the site. Check the sprite sheet section if you want to see what Bojack 2.0 is going to look like!

For those who didn't know I released a Zangya not too long ago. And a bit more than a month ago I released Recoome 2.0. Noticed alot of videos and screens of DBZ mugens which are pretty recent with the old Recoome. I'd recommend updating, Recoome 2.0 has better sprites, better code, and better moves!

And due to some very small problems Zangya and Recoome(really none of my characters) will work by direct drag and drop into the Mugen 1.0 release canditates due to some old outdated code I forgot to remove. 2 lines on Recoome are bad, and one on Zangya is bad. Regardless I'll get a patch out eventually. I'm slowing down now due to getting serious about job searching and crazy life stuff. I'm hoping to get Bojack 2.0 and maybe a special surprise ready for X-Mas(unpossible goal?).

Hi! I released Zangya today! She was a random WIP I took on in boredom, and now have to update Bojack because of it. She is totally open source, so enjoy.

Recoome Patch and 18v1.5 are next I think. But who the heck knows with me, not even I know what I'm doing! Oh Zangya and Bojack's sprite sheets were released at ZGTeam Forum recently, I'll upload them here some time.

Recoome 2.0 released! Huge change over the old version! He's currently made for old WinMugen but I will update him to 1.0 with Hi-Res Hitsparks and the basic new stuff the new mugen offers.

I will be updating 18 next. Finally! We have a brand new sprite set for her, which looks more like 18 now, and much more original looking moves. She will be upgraded to Mugen 1.0. And also finalized til I do the final version of 17, then work out their team moves.

I've also got some ideas to add to my characters fighting system. Parry and Deflection. Evades and Dodges. And other wierd things I might crack up, if I stick around that long!

Elecbyte seems to have revived like Jesus but much, much slower. Regardless they did create a small miracle, the release of a new MUGEN with HD stuff, and other changes. Most important to me is the AI Level addition, which will allow me to easily edit my AIs to have various levels of difficulty with a simple small equation. So thats pretty neat and exciting.

To those interested I started work on Recoome 2.0. Have a bunch of ideas for changes to his gameplay. Also he's getting a new super in the form of a grab type slamming move. He will also get improved effects, and of corse the greatly improved sprites. Stay tuned for WIP threads at RokCorp, ZGTeam, and Mugen Generations.

Also, Neo has been redoing 18's sprites and they look alot better, the face is changed too and looks alot more like 18 as well, so no more whining about that. She and 17 will be updated and finalized after Recoome.

Apparently, there are alot of people having trouble getting my characters due to lycos dropping their download connections. I currently can't really help a whole lot with this, I put up a temporary mirror at ZGTeam, Rokorp, and Mugenhispania, and I believe that was moved to MI and MFG. So hopefully that takes care of the distribution issue temporarily.
If I can get anyone to host 17 and 18 it'd be appreciated. CMugen.com has 17 and 18 uploaded to their database too it seems which should be useful.

17 got alot of feedback, and I'll work on a patch or update sometime. At the moment I'm taking a short break from Mugen programming. But I did put up 3 new sprite sheets to the website, my Nappa sheet, Garlic Jr, and a Perfect Cell sprite sheet I've been working on lately. All are available in the sprite sheet section.

It's about time! Not every I wanted to be there is on him but I wanted to get him out to the general public, so people can see where I'm going with him.

He's got a pretty hefty file size which bothers me, 2mbs of it are from a music file for his ReadMe... I'll probably stop the music file stuff for those things in the future.

You can also see on his page, a link for an optional Japanese voice pack! 17 includes some original ideas, and fun stuff from other games, such as Castlevania:SOTN Richter's Whip Dash, heavy metal head banging, and pallette options which change the effect of one of his supers.

A few things updated, first of all I finally released Cloud Beta 2. I haven't touched him in nearly 2 years, so he plays more like my old stuff rather than my new stuff. But atleast he has his sword stance and a limit break.

An Android 18 patch has been released, with improved dashing and FX yet again. I also uploaded her Japanese voice pack. If you have the last version of 18(v0.9), then you can simply download the 0.9->0.91 patch, otherwise grab the full file.

My Earth Storm stage and Starry Night stages have been updated and much improved with color fixes, and more BG parts with respective deltas. Starry night comes in 2 versions, one with a meteor shower, one without. Earth Storm has been improved alot, the way I set up the storm clouds is better, pretty background, darker sky, and more frequent lightning strikes.
I finished up my education for the time being, I've now earned a Bachelors of Computer Science degree. I still however have no interest in working on any MUGEN projects any time soon, and I can't say when I'll get back to any of my WIPs. Sorry.

I forgot to mention I have fixed the Bojack 1.2 patch. Again to those who havent patched him, it basically makes him 6 buttons instead of 4, and weakens his cheap AI a bit. I have also added to links to the Links section, to FenixMugen and Elysium no Mugen.

And normally I don't do this, but I've tried a couple really good characters lately and thought I'd let visitors know about them. Belly Buu by Pextin, and Nappa by Wenchu are really well made DBZ characters, a couple bugs in Nappa's debug screen but he's really fun to play and fight well thought out moves and both have really nice sprites.

I'd recommend trying them both out. Find Pexy's Buu at Sexy Pexy's Eternal Realm of Mugen, and Wenchu's Nappa at the Elysium no Mugen Team O.S. section. Links to both can be found in my Links section. I normally don't download Mugen characters anymore, unless I'm asked to try things out. I do make an exception now and then and this certainly was worth it.

This website now works with Firefox and other browsers. So no need to beg for the mugens. This means you'll have to deal with the bottom and top ad bars, tooooo bad.

17 and 18 are making progress. I reworked how my characters will dash along the ground, making it simialr to the air dashing(holding button means running further). But nothing to huge there, the new FX are nice though.

Anyway unless I have a random motivation to do something else my next release should be 18 v 1.0 with the Japanese voice pack, Cloud Strife Beta 2, and maybe a 17 beta.

In case people have been wondering where I've been the past 6 months. University gave me a hell of a time last semester, and once things eased up a bit my computer had some problems. I decided since I had backed most of my crap up, to reformat my machine.

What I lost were 17, Nappa, Recoome2, both of 18's stages, and some Cloud progress. Along with all the FX I made for 17, and such. I have recovered 17, Nappa, and Recoome2's sheet and my 18's Highway Night stage. If anyone has the daytime version of the highway stage I made please send it to me.

I lacked motivation to get MUGEN up and running again, until recently. I made a new version of Garlic Jrs Stage

I also have a small patch to the old version linked up. You can DL the patch which just renames it in the Stage Selection to "Destroyed Lookout", rename it yourself, or delete one or keep it the same. It's your choice. But the new stage name is Garlic Jrs Lookout, so the patch is there to avoid confusion. I also included a BGM download for it, Castlevania fans might enjoy it.

Stay tuned for 18 v0.9, which will include a powerful AI, new moves, and improved FX. Oh and her Night Highway stage as well. =)

Sorry for missing Christmas, to those of you hoping for a Strife release or cute School Rumble ending theme. Maybe the next one will have more promise.
