(The cheeky chinchillas own the original print and were sometimes tempted to nibble the corners before chin mum put it in a frame))

Note the big red arrow pointing at the weird and wonderful 'rodent' on the left of the page
Yes - it's supposed to be a chinchilla! The artist obviously had not seen one before and had
 to rely on the descriptions given of one to him, the print is dated around the late 19th century
( print may be from the early 1880's )
