The Chanterelles reunited in February 2009, eight years after the choir originally disbanded.

During its 10-year existence the all-girls choir - known for its trademark blue dresses - got to the semi-finals of Sainsbury's Choir of the Year in 1996 and 1998, the final in 2000, achieved first place in their category in the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and won a silver medal at the Choir Olympics in Graz, Austria.

The Chanterelles performed their first concert reunited on Sunday, February 22. They will perform at the Bollington Methodist Church,in Macclesfield on Sunday, September 13 and in Leicester with The City of Bath Male Choir, who took part on BBC reality TV Last Choir Standing, on Saturday, October 24.
