Competitive Obedience Training

What Is It?

Competitive obedience is a competition to examine how well you and your dog work together as a team, by putting you through various set exercises.

Your dog does not have to be a pedigree to compete at Obedience competitions,, although they do have to be registered with the kennel club

The Trainer

Lesley Deegan has been involved in obedience for over 30 years and currently competes at the top level of obedience with three of her dogs.

In 2003 Lesley competed at Crufts with her Briard and Gained 2nd Place.

in March 2004 Lesley is competing at Crufts with her working sheepdog, "Data".

The Classes

AT present the Covert Canine Centre does not offer any “Pet” training classes, only people who have already mastered the basics and wish to have a go at competing with their dog.
