The thrill of snogging at the school disco. The shame of not having any decent wallpaper to back your maths book in. The fun of giving wedgies. Happy days for some. Boring source of anecdotes for many.

But oh, how those classroom rivalries last into life! Write out a list of the people you hated most with all your pounding heart, right now. Go on! People you really really really wanted something bad to happen to (such as having total and abject lifetime failure in everything, or a really bad haircut). Yep, over half of them are people you haven't seen since school. Strange, isn't it?
