Images of Brownhills "Then & Now". I've tried as much as possible to get the same view, although trees and buildings sometimes obscure the view

View from the edge of the dam down Pool road towards Watling Street, 100 years apart.

View from the overflow pool at Chasewater. In the distance is the building that contained the pumping engine for pumping water back into the reservoir from the canal system. The engine house is now gone but part of the buildings are now a private house, and the valve house remains on top of the dam and is still in use.

A view of the Parade from the early 1920's, and the view today. The trees have grown a bit.
