I originally conceived of this part of UNHEALINGWOUNDS as being a definitive guide to the various members of TERMINAL CHEESECAKE with a nod to some trainspottery details and other projects. I have now been VERY reliably informed that this task is next to impossible as there have been "20-30" different people involved over the years. Therefore, this is my humble stab at compiling some details of people involved with TERMINAL CHEESECAKE.
What I know about some of these people you could fit onto the back of a stamp quite easily. Here for your delectation and delight.....

    • Gary is the key figure and constant member of Terminal Cheesecake since the first days. Upon their demise in 1995 he was the only surviving original member of the band.
    Gary started out drumming in a few Rockabilly punk bands and then went on to front the brilliant VIBES and the even more brilliant PURPLE THINGS.
    He left Terminal Cheesecake and formed BUD ALZIR with Terminal Cheesecake's Gordon Watson and Poppa Newman.
    He has released one track as GEDULAH on Macro Dub Infection Volume 2 and is set to work with Terminal Cheesecake's Simon Doling on the Hip-Hop/Dub project 45 THIEF.

    • Russel is another founding member of the band. He played guitar on all releases up to 'Angels in Pigtails' which is the last sighting we have of him.
    Russell went on to play with the dirgy noise brats SKULLFLOWER on a number of releases and also intermittently guested with Kevin Martin's GOD.

    • Gordon's first entry into the band seems to be as a guest guitarist on the track 'Trout' from the Johnny Town-Mouse LP. After that we do not really know what he performed on and which instrument he played until we come to the Angels In Pigtails LP where he is listed as playing the Bass and acoustic guitar. Gordon became a strong presence in the band upon Russell's departure where he stepped into the his guitarist boots. He was a member of Terminal Cheesecake up until the band split in 1995.
    Gordon then went on to co-form BUD ALZIR with Gary and Poppa.

    • Simon became the drummer of Terminal Cheesecake in 1992 after answering an advert in the classifieds of the Melody Maker. He did not have a problem probably because he 'had good pedigree' with stints in a number of bands including the brilliant World Dom.
    He first performed on the classic Pearlesque Kings of the Jewmost LP and went to serve his tenure up until the point that the band split.
    He went on to work with a few bands including Oil Seed Rape, and is collaborating on the project 45 THIEF with Gary.

    • Joe seems to have been in the band only fleetingly and is only listed as appearing on the 'Angels in Pigtails' LP.
    His career is long and varied and I urge you to visit his homepage which you will find in my links section. Joe has played in some top bands and seems to be one of those people who have their thumbs in a number of pies.

    • Fez is an enigma. Even the band themselves do not quite understand when or where he joined and under what circumstances. What we do know is that he became a cheesecake member at a similar time to Simon and first played on 'Pearlesque'. During international gigs it is believed that Fez would have to be subdued like BA Baracus because of his fear of flying. Other than that Fez is a trainspotter's nightmare.
