hello again, welcome to my music homepage. in this little area you can find links to the many pages on many bands. and if you don't want to look at pages i have made there are links to many more on all the bands that are listed. but please take time to look at what i have done. ~birdmad girl~

the Cure the Cure is a British band that have been around since the late 1970's have released many albums; believe are some of the best records ever made. many of the artists of today have been and still are Cure fans; some are Trent Reznor, depeche mode, smashing pumpkins, and many more...

depeche mode the term "depeche mode" means "fashion dispatch". the band itself started in 1980, their music is mostly synthesizers and samples of any kind of noise that caught their ear. the band now is made out of three of the origionally members; (in order of picture above) Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher, and Dave Gahan...

one of the biggest band from the punk era was the Sex Pistols, that were used to promote a shop in London by the name of Sex. the band wore clothes that came from the store. but the band them self had many punk classic included; “God Save the Queen” and “Anarchy in the UK”. the bass player was very famous on his own; Sid Vicious. Sid lived up to his name causing chaos where ever her went and he eventually ended up killing his girlfriend, Nancy. the leader singer, Johnny Rotten, was named “rotten” because his teeth were, but in my opinion that Johnny’s sarcastic voice was the perfect for this band and this era.

another band that had an impact, in the punk movement was Joy Division. Ian Curtain was charted with starting the first type of industrial and Goth. Ian Curtain's dark voice along with the dark lyrics, from such classic as "Love will tear us apart Again", made Joy Division one of the most infuential band in this era. It was a shame that Curtain felt that he had to end his life. out of the death of Joy division came the birth of New Order.
