WinMe and no EMS memory. If you have WinMe and your game complains that it doesn't have EMS memory Microsoft might have your solution.

Inferno's Adventures A site which holds specific "Setup Walkthroughs" (wriiten in plain English) for getting those old legacy games (and some newer ones that still give us trouble!) to run on Windows XP.
DosBox A DOS emulator that can run older DOS games without need for restarting in real DOS mode. Especially useful for those with WinXP computers.
Clandestiny Video Problem Fix This file seems to have dissapeared from the net. It is a fix for video problems in the game "Clandestiny".
Birthright 1.04 patch and Editors These seem to have disapeared from the 'net as well.
The .zip includes the 1.04 beta patch, the character editor (ver 2), and the scenerio editor.
It's a Funny Old Game (IFOG) This game requires some old Win 3.1 (winG) .dlls which can be hard to find.

Me2Dos (For WinMe users) This program will restore the use of the "autoexec.bat" and "config.sys" files in Windows ME. It only works with Windows ME and it makes the files work just like they did in Windows 98.
UMBPCI a hardware UMB driver for DOS and Win95/98.
You can use this (if it works on your system) to replace Emm386 and free up additional memory.
DAEMON Tools Do you need a Virtual Cd-Rom? This one is freeware and is quite good.
Advanced Hex Editor Need a Hex editor?

MouseCtl This may help if your mouse works *very* slowly when trying to play a DOS based game in WinXP.
RageLtMan's ATI Drivers An *unoficial* driver set for the ATI: Rage Pro, Rage Pro Turbo, Rage Lt Pro, Rage XL, Rage Mobility (M1, P), and others based on these chips.

vga8x14 font fix for Diamond viper series Getting unreadable text with older games and Diamond Video cards?
More then likely this is caused because some older DOS games such as SIM CITY 2000 use the 8x14 text font.
Run this utility (in the same DOS box under Windows or from real DOS Mode) before starting the game.
