The PSU
WARNING!!!!!
MAKE SURE THE MAINS LEAD IS DISCONNECTED
ALSO THE BIG CAP HAS VOLTAGE STORED TOO
Disconnect the white 2 pin header plug and remove socket
Locate & remove the 4 screws holding the psu in place
Remove psu by lifting it in a upwards motion
Desolder 1 leg of all 4 diodes
lifting 1 leg of each which takes them
out of circuit so you can test them
To test a diode connect a multimeter between
the anode and cathode pins and then reverse
the leads between the cathode and anode
the easy way to find it its working is you
will get a reading one way but when you reverse
the leads you shouldnt get a reading
IE :- current flows one way but not the other

multimeter set to dc volts to the 4 pin header
WARNING HIGH VOLTAGES WILL BE PRESENT!!!!
connect the mains lead to the input socket which
should be then connected to the mains input on the psu
and finaly connect the mains plug into the mains supply
(thats the 3 pin mains plug on the console mains supply)
AT NO TIME SHOULD YOU TOUCH THE PSU AS IT WILL BE LIVE!!
