We are organising a week of solidarity with Iraqi students next month, but have been unable to date to make contact with any students! Thank for this information, I think you should devloe it more. And work the the University of Basarh adminstration to make an offical web sit. Our universit is the second oldast one in Iraq. How ever, many of Iraqies like to find information about Basarah.

I would like to express my greafule thanks to those who have created this web site also to my old friend Dr Abdulkareem ABBASS who has just told me about this website. I lived in Basrah nearly seven years, during my doing BSc in Physics (72-76) and to be as assitant lecturer in The colleges of Scinces and Education (82-85. My beast regards to all those who are working in the univesity specially in the department of physics in these colleges. I am willing to be in tough with any one knows or remembers me.
