The lodge was constructed in 2000 and underwent refurbishment by the current owners in 2003/2004 when curtains, furniture etc were replaced.

Summary - 2 bedrooms - 1 twin, 1 double with en-suite shower and toilet, bathroom, lounge/diner with sofa bed, gas central heating (inclusive), electric fire, double glazing, television, hi-fi, fully equipped kitchen - dishwasher, washer dryer etc., travel cot 

Sleeps 4 adults plus travel cot. At a push 4 adults and 2 children could squeeze in if you use the sofa bed.

Balcony

Accessed from living area, includes table chairs etc. Perfect for relaxing, watching the buzzards or the stars, listening to the river and watching the children play!

Lounge/Dining Area

A vaulted, beamed ceiling contains the spacious living room furnished with two sofas (new in 2004) one of which is a four foot wide sofa bed. 

There is a dining room table and chairs and feature fireplace with coal effect electric convector heater.

Also included is a television, hi-fi, video, DVD player and Playstation 1 (which you can easily hide).

The living area has two doors onto the balcony for which chairs are provided. 

Kitchen

Adjacent to the living area and separated by a room divider is the the kitchen.

Includes 

  • hob and oven, 
  • dishwasher, 
  • microwave, 
  • kettle, 
  • toaster 
  • fridge freezer, 
  • lots of plates and cutlery, 
  • picnic equipment including flasks etc.

Also accessible from the living area is a -

Utility room with storage for coats etc and a washer dryer (new in 2004).

Down a hall there is a bathroom with bath, toilet and basin. The bath has a shower mixer attachment. Also off from the hall are the bedrooms.

Bedroom 1

 Contains a double bed (4'6"), desk, drawers, bedside cabinets and lamps, clock radio.

Provides access to a walk in wardrobe containing a new travel cot.  

En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1

With toilet and power shower.

Bedroom 2

  • two 3' single beds - new in 2004,
  • wardrobe, 
  • chest of drawers, 
  • CD clock radio

Other Facilities

Outdoor heated swimming pool in June, July and August, parking for two cars maximum, two mountain bikes - mens 18" and ladies 16", you are welcome to store your own bikes under the lodge.
