After spending many years in self catering accommodation of all sorts around the world we decided to set up somewhere for us to escape to near to home. The lodge is our holiday home and we only let to family, friends and colleagues. We use the lodge regularly and have tried to include all the things we think make for an easier holiday. Hence you will find plenty of plates and cutlery, spare blankets, a washer dryer, dishwasher, travel cot etc. and we do not charge separately for gas and electricity (please be aware though we do have to pay for it!). 

Location

The lodge is situated approximately 4 miles south from Cheriton Bishop, which is on the A30 approximately 1/2 way between Exeter and Okehampton. 

Exeter has an airport, rail and coach station, there is also a rail service to Okehampton. Cheriton Bishop and Moretonhampstead (4 miles south of the lodge) are the nearest locations with a bus service. However to be honest you really need a car (or be a keen walker or fit cyclist) to get to the lodge.
