Brushes With Greatness

In 1987 I formed the project "Novo Die Snow" as a drummer with Jon Brion as lead Singer. The Grammy Award winner's fame comes from the film "Magnolia". Jon also played with "Til' Tuesday", "Fiona Apple", "Aimie Mann" & "Pat On The Back".

In 1992 old friend Reeves Gabrels taught me music theory and shared with me many of his secrets. I will be forever greatfull!

In 1995 I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Kim Fowley (Kiss, Joan Jett, Poison, Guns N Roses, etc) in Vienna. We wrote songs together and performed live in Austria and England.

In 1999 I collaborated with the talented Rainhard Fendrich to write the theme music to the Peter Weck film "Das Mädchen Aus Der Torte".

Most Recently - July - 2005- I was approached by Reid Savage to engineer and co-produce the demo in my home for the song "People" written by Neil Mc Cormick. The song is about the 7/7 bombings in London. We went to Map Studios and I played bass with the talented Jon Moss (Culture Club, Adam & the Ants, The Damned, etc) on drums, Wix (Paul Mc Cartney, The Pretenders, etc) on Piano & Keys and Neil on Lead Vocals and Reid on Guitar. The song was released on Universal and iTunes, Napster and Woolworths with all of the profits going to charity.

August - 2005- Jon Moss has joined my new band "dirth"!!! It's an extreme pleasure to be working with such a talented and professional musician. AND, he's also a nice bloke!!!

January - 2006- Winston Blissett (Massive Attack, Cher, Rod Stewart, etc) is the new bassist with DIRTH. He is one of the best bass players in England and I am honoured to be playing with him.
