Myst Island Hints

When you first arrive on Myst Island you have no idea what to do. But what have you done? Have you read the note left the guy named "Atrus"? Why not do as it says? It may give you a helpful clue for later on. Have you found all the areas of the island? Have you seen the giant tree and the log cabin, for example? Or the underground power generator? What about all those switches - what do they do? Have you examined the walls of the library? You may need a map of the island to start you off - wonder what it does......? Try playing with it......
