LOVE PASSES ALL OCTOBER 2001 EDITION

Hi Readers!!

With some apologies to my moslem readers I would like to refer you to 2nd Corithians Chapter 13 inthe Holy Bible. The place of Love in a Christian Life was judiciously and generously illustrated by Paul the Apostle. I am aware that many religious scriptures based their teaching on Love. It is therefore important to stress in this edition the place value of Love in Human Life. With Love, we stand to see the other man from our perspective, feeling for him the way we would want for ourselves, sharing his grief, if he has any, wanting him to be happy, the way we want ourselves to be. Loving our neighbours as ourselves is the simple law of humanity which ensures that no matter what we do not want to hurt our neighbours for the simple reason that we do not want to hurt ourselves. Then why is there war? With Love there would be no conflict. Let genuine love reign from now on. What do you say?

The month of September is a very important one to me. It is a month before my birthday. Most importantly, on the 20th of this month my wife celebrated her birthday. I join the rest of the family, Harold and Michael, in wishing her long life and prosperity. We thank God for the strength he has given her and pray that she lives to see children children in Jesus Name. We dedicated the Edition of 'Akintomide on the Web' to her.
The month of October is Nigeria's Month. Nigeria clocks 41 on 1 Oct 2001. The month is also my month because I will be celebrating my birthday on the 21st Oct 2001. What else can I say. To God be the Glory great things he has done. Please check the site "Make Nigeria Great" and "Count Your Blessings". These sites reflect my emotions and inspiration for the month of October.
The Webmaster and Coordinator of Online Studies Group has put in place some encouraging moves to assist children in Lagos on improving their interaction with their peers online. Grandaffairs CyberCafe at Block 12 Flat 3 Rabiat Thompson Crescent Surulere Lagos has agreed to allow children between the age of 5 and 12 to browse free of charge on Saturdays between 10 oclock and 2 pm. Hurry now and register your children. Master Harold Akintomide Olamilokun will be your Internet Compere. We hope that Supernet300 will reconnect Grandaffairs so that this program would continue as soon as possible. I like to thank those who have been visiting the sites. We are still working on making the site an educational site. Bear with us

Please Visit this Site Again next Month!
