In July 1999, Steve Bailey participated in Michinoku Pro Wrestling’s World Masked Man tournament. However, he only lasted one night after a kick from The Great Sasuke broke cartilage in his chest and he was sent home. Since then, he has dropped the mask and adopted the moniker of “Shotgun”, but still holds the grudge with Sasuke to this day. He gained a measure of revenge against the Japanese legend when he defeated him in a Hammerlock ring in August 2001. This high flyer often plies his trade as a stuntman. His feud with Byson in the summer of 2005 was one of the most violent and bloody ever seen in Hammerlock rings.

 

History repeated itself in May 2005 when he suffered an injury at the hands of Byson and had to withdraw from the Hammerlock Heavyweight Title tournament. He and Byson then became embroiled in a bitter feud which shows no signs of ending, even to this day!
