Hammerlock TV
Episode #19
Civic Hall, Whitehaven, Cumbria
Your commentary team is Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler.
The show begins with Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler building up tonight's main
event, a number one contenders match between "The Iceman" Ben Winter and The
Punisher with the winner facing Jason Prentice for the Heavyweight Title at
Collision Course. The opening contest of the show is a four corners survival
match featuring four men who all suffered singles losses last week: Cuthbert D.
Fharquar, Junior Jones, M.J. and Scottie Hero. Footage rolled from a meeting
between Hero and Jones earlier in the day where they agreed to stop teaming
together in order to accomplish singles success. This bout is not fought under
elimination rules; one fall wins it. The wrestler who is victorious will force
themselves back into the TV Title rankings so there is a lot on the line here.
Match highlights:
Scottie Hero took M.J. down with a Soviet suplex and applied the Koji clutch,
but Cuthbert D. Fharquar made the save. Emma B pulled the top rope down on Hero
who took a nasty spill to the ringside floor. Fharquar blasted Hero with a
somersault slam for a two count. Junior Jones hit Fharquar with a flying rana
which earned a near fall. Hero planted Fharquar with a tiger driver. The
aristocrat tagged out to Jones, forcing Scottie Hero and Junior Jones to square
off for the first time. Jones scored with a side suplex and hit the Junior Jam
for a near fall. Hero executed an inside cradle on his ex-tag team partner for
two. Jones DDTed M.J. and connected with a dragon suplex for a two count. M.J.
hit Fharquar with a spinning backbreaker and followed up with a vertical suplex.
Jones nailed Hero with a slingshot legdrop and then clotheslined him. M.J.
almost took Jones' head off with a lariat but the International Bright Young
Thing kicked out. Junior Jones executed the leaping swinging DDT on M.J., a move
that has put many men away in the past, but Scottie Hero made the save. Jones
and Hero were embroiled in a heated argument as the show went to commercials.
Back from the break and M.J. power bombed Junior Jones for a near fall. Cuthbert
Fharquar planted M.J. with the Silver Spoon but Emma B distracted the referee.
Jones went for a blockbuster on the fitness instructor, but Emma shoved him off
the turnbuckle!! M.J. tried to take advantage with a belly-to-back suplex, but
Jones turned in mid-air and landed on him for the three count!
Four Corners Match:
Junior Jones defeated M.J., Scottie Hero and Cuthbert D. Fharquar when J. Jones
pinned M.J. after a cross-body block in 0:19:36.
Scottie Hero suffered a fractured leg. He will be out for approximately 5 cards.

After the match, Junior Jones attempted to help Scottie Hero to the back, who
was limping very badly. Hero was reluctant to accept his assistance as he was
still upset that Jones had stopped him from winning the bout. It was every man
for himself though.
Footage rolled from last week of Mystikal double-crossing Kontraband in the
midst of their tag team bout against The Bodysnatchers. Mystikal shoved
Kontraband off the top rope and through a table just as Kontraband was about to
score the win for their team. After viewing the footage again Mystikal was
laughing while Kelly interviewed him. Mystikal claimed that Kontraband wasn't
doing much high-flying from his hospital bed. He once again bragged that he was
the premier high-flying wrestler in the world and vowed to prove that tonight by
grounding another high-flyer, Shenanigans.
Match highlights:
Shenanigans drilled Mystikal with a DDT and executed a power bomb for a two
count. Mystikal came back with a springboard dropkick for a near fall and then
slapped Shenanigans around, adding insult to injury. Mystikal connected with an
elbow for two. The fans were chanting, "Mystikal sucks!". Shenanigans hit the
rapper with a snap suplex, a powerslam and then planted him with a German suplex
for two. Mystikal choked the life out of Shenanigans, yet again breaking the
rules. Shenanigans executed a belly-to-belly suplex and a flying legdrop, but
Mystikal put his foot on the ropes. Shenanigans gained another two count with a
flying cross body. However, Mystikal then booted Shenanigans in the groin and
dropped him with a clothesline. Mystikal soaked in the jeers of the crowd before
finishing off his opponent with the Self Suicide.
Mystikal pinned Shenanigans with the Self Suicide in 0:08:41.

Mystikal continued to pound Shenanigans after the bell. He rolled out to
ringside and pulled a table out from under the ring. Mystikal set the table up
in preparation for sending Shenanigans through it, when suddenly Hijinx,
Shenanigans' tag team partner, unexpectedly made his return to Hammerlock!
Hijinx had been out for over two months with a right triceps tear. Hijinx hit
the ring and ran Mystikal off before checking on his partner. The crowd were
delighted to see Hijinx, who had returned in the nick of time. Mystikal was
still revelling in his recent actions as he swaggered back up the ramp.
Martyn Sullivan's promo from last week aired where he called out former World
Kickboxing Champion "Dangerous" Dan "The Man" Stirling. To the best of anybody's
knowledge, Dan Stirling wasn't at the Civic Hall this evening. Martyn Sullivan
was though and he is in action against the Aristocrats' butler, Jeeves.
Match highlights:
Martyn Sullivan opened up with an enzuigiri on Jeeves and went for a flying
cross body, but Jeeves planted him with a vicious powerslam for a near fall.
Sullivan scored with a near fall of his own with a flying forearm and hit a
savate kick and a nice missile dropkick. The burly butler turned the tide with a
jawbreaker and choked Sullivan on the middle rope. Jeeves dropped Sullivan with
a reverse neckbreaker and went for splash, but Sullivan rolled out of dodge.
Sullivan then scored the win with a flying headbutt.
Martyn Sullivan pinned Jeeves with the Flying Headbutt in 0:06:08.
Rating: ***
As Martyn Sullivan celebrated his win, Dan Stirling flew into the ring through
the crowd and jumped Sullivan from behind. He stiffed Sullivan with a vicious
roundhouse kick and then punched the hell out of him. Stirling took the
microphone and warned that nobody calls him out, least of all a pussy wrestler.
He said that he would be back next week to show the fans what a real combat
sport is - kickboxing. Stirling then applied a chokehold to Sullivan and only
released the hold when the Hammerlock locker room emptied to run Stirling the
hell out of the arena.

Devon Ferrari made his return to Hammerlock next against Anthony DeAngelo.
Ferrari was unlucky not to dethrone Bryan Campbell as TV Champion and now must
start at the bottom of the ladder in order to earn another title shot. DeAngelo
meanwhile is coming off a big win against Scottie Hero last week and would love
to keep his momentum going this evening.
Match highlights:
Devon Ferrari hit an STO and a flying cross body for the first near fall of the
contest. A flying legdrop and a Northern Lights suplex brought further two
counts for Ferrari, before he connected with a neck snap. Anthony DeAngelo
executed the 69er Driver but Ferrari only just kicked out in the nick of time.
Ferrari used an electric chair drop for two. Ferrari decked DeAngelo with a
spinning leg lariat and covered after a flying back elbow, but Serenity
distracted the official. Ferrari executed the Ego Has Landed, but Serenity
entered the ring and went to hit Ferrari with a chair. However, Ferrari rolled
out of the way of the blow and Serenity hit her own man DeAngelo! The crowd
popped as Ferrari nailed Serenity with a superkick! However, that left him open
for DeAngelo to attack and set him up for the X-Spot. Ferrari slid out of the
manoeuvre but missed a slingshot into a DDT. Another 69er Driver was blocked
though and Ferrari executed an overhead belly-to-belly. Devon Ferrari was then
victorious with another flying legdrop.
Devon Ferrari pinned Anthony DeAngelo after a flying legdrop in 0:12:11.

Footage of last week's disruption to Hammerlock TV by Ben Winter and Victoria
Silvstedt was shown. Hammerlock president Peter Abram decided to appease The
Iceman slightly by booking a number one contenders match between Winter and The
Punisher, which is coming up next. The winner will face Jason Prentice for the
gold at Collision Course.
Match highlights:
This match between the two big men started off as a slugfest. The Punisher
scored the first big move of the match when he hit Ben Winter with the Doctor
Bomb, but The Iceman kicked out. The Punisher took Winter down with a flying
clothesline. Winter roared back with a short clothesline and then speared The
Punisher. The Iceman countered a sidewalk slam with a DDT, but The Punisher took
Winter over with a Frankensteiner for a near fall. Winter planted The Punisher
with a spinebuster and then kneed The Punisher in the gut. The Iceman quickly
locked on the Deep Freeze, forcing the tap out.
Number-One-Contenders-Match:
Ben Winter made The Punisher submit to the Deep Freeze in 0:05:25.
Rating: *** 1/2
The announcers and everybody else inside the Civic Hall were shocked at how
quickly Ben Winter had defeated the intimidating Punisher. The Iceman obviously
means business. Jason Prentice hit the ring and sneaked up behind Winter with a
chair. As he went to take a swing with the chair, Ben Winter turned around and
caught him in the act. The Iceman snatched the chair away and threw it to the
ground. Jason Prentice and Ben Winter went nose-to-nose as the show went
off-air.
Circuit information:
Scottie Hero suffered a broken leg in the opening contest this evening and will
be out for the foreseeable future. We wish him a full and speedy recovery.
So it is official - Ben Winter will face Jason Prentice in the first match
signed for Collision Course. It is exactly what the Iceman has wanted all along
and he decimated The Punisher in awesome fashion tonight to get the opportunity.
Prentice better be ready for the fight of his life because Winter is not messing
about.
Mystikal's disgusting and despicable actions continued tonight but at least it
brought on the return of Hijinx. After the show, Shenanigans and Hijinx asked
Hammerlock officials for a tag team match against Mystikal and any other member
of the Goldie Lookin' Chain. That match has been signed for next week.
After his brutal attack on Martyn Sullivan, Dan Stirling has announced that he
will have a kickboxing match next week on television. Who will he be facing?
There has never been so much hatred directed towards one man in Hammerlock as
there is for Dan Stirling. He had better watch his back next week.
Devon Ferrari's return to Hammerlock was a victorious one as he defeated Anthony
DeAngelo. Junior Jones also scored a big win in the four way survival match.
Ferrari and Jones would leap at the opportunity to challenge for the TV Title
once again.
Coming up on Saturday Fight Night, Jawaid Kaleeq faces Hiro Kakuhari for the
number one contendership to the NWA-UK Hammerlock TV Title. Also, the Tag Team
Titles are on the line in a steel cage as The New Young Lions square off against
La Cosa Nostra! We hope you'll join us then for all that and more! Till then, so
long everybody!!
