Hammerlock TV
Episode #16
Oakengates Theatre, Telford, Shropshire
Your commentary team is Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler.
The show opened with Jawaid Kaleeq making his way out to a huge ovation for a
four corner survival match. Chris Freeman reminded viewers that Kaleeq won the
number one contendership to the TV Title last week and then hyped up tonight's
main event between "Shotgun" Steve Bailey and Anthony DeAngelo. Aero, Martyn
Sullivan and Shenanigans are also involved in this four way, so if any of those
men could capture the win here then they might propel themselves into TV Title
contention.
Match highlights:
Jawaid Kaleeq took it to Shenanigans straight away, blasting him with a tiger
driver for two. Shenanigans also kicked out of Kaleeq's German suplex.
Shenanigans dropkicked Aero for a near fall. Martyn Sullivan took Aero down with
a dragon screw leg whip and cracked him with an enzuigiri. Sullivan scored with
an Asai moonsault on Kaleeq for a two count. Kaleeq replied with a stiff rolling
elbowsmash. Shenanigans hit Kaleeq with a flying axehandle and followed up with
a back suplex. Kaleeq executed a flying neckbreaker drop on Aero. Sullivan
kicked out of a flying cross body press by Shenanigans. Aero used a sitdown
faceslam on Shenanigans. Shenanigans powerslammed Aero onto a steel chair and
then drilled him with a belly-to-back suplex on the chair. Ultimately though it
was Jawaid Kaleeq who came out victorious when he rolled up Aero in the Tiger
Clutch.
Four Corners Match:
Jawaid Kaleeq defeated Shenanigans, Aero and Martyn Sullivan when Kaleeq pinned
Aero with the Tiger Clutch in 0:14:44.

Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler discussed the situation that has been developing
recently between Kontraband and Mystikal. Mystikal seems peeved that Kontraband
is always touted as the best high-flyer in the UK and hasn't been doing a good
job of hiding his jealousy lately. Or is he still just bitter that he came up
short against Bryan Campbell in his quest for the TV Title at Heatwave? Last
week, Kontraband came to the aid of Mystikal when the Welsh rapper suffered a
beating at the hands of The Aristocrats. Mystikal was less than thankful,
claiming he didn't need any help. That sets up tonight's tag team match pitting
The Aristocrats against the duo of Mystikal and Kontraband, a match that
Mystikal is not happy about competing in.
Match highlights:
Lord Potemkin attempted to put Kontraband away early with a fisherman suplex,
but Kontraband turned it into a small package for a near fall. Cuthbert Fharquar
got a near fall with a butterfly suplex on Kontraband. Mystikal and Kontraband
combined to drop Fharquar with a double clothesline and a double dropkick,
showing great teamwork with no apparent signs of tension between the two.
Fharquar countered Kontraband's back suplex with a cross-body block for two.
Potemkin executed a flying headbutt on the fallen Kontraband for another near
fall. Mystikal demanded that his tag team partner get up, seemingly criticising
Kontraband instead of encouraging him. Potemkin nailed Kontraband with a
Northern Lights suplex, but Kontraband was showing no quit and refused to be
pinned. Potemkin missed an avalanche in the corner, handing Kontraband the
opportunity to make the hot tag to Mystikal. Mystikal hit Potemkin with flying
headscissors and a springboard rana. However, Fharquar was able to crotch
Mystikal on the turnbuckles and blast him with a superplex for two. Fharquar
picked up another near fall with a trademark dragon suplex. Kontraband drilled
Fharquar with a moonsault bodyblock and the match completely broke down with the
referee losing control. Kontraband scored with the Kontra Kode on Fharquar, but
Mystikal pulled Kontraband off the aristocrat and made the cover himself,
stealing the pinfall! Referee Stuart Barnes had no idea who the legal men were.
Kontraband and Mystikal defeated
The Aristocrats (Cuthbert D. Fharquar and Lord J. T. Potemkin III) when Mystikal
pinned Fharquar in 0:11:45.
Rating: ** 3/4
After the match, Mystikal celebrated energetically like he had done all the
work. Kontraband on the other hand stood in the ring looking bemused.

Mystikal was interviewed backstage by Kelly. Kelly asked him why he was so
jealous of Kontraband. Mystikal claimed that was preposterous and said he was by
far the more talented high-flyer. He added that he had proven that tonight by
winning the tag team match for his team. Kelly revealed that Kontraband had laid
down the challenge to Mystikal for a match at Back 2 School. Mystikal laughed
and willingly accepted the challenge. He said that he would show Kontraband and
everyone else that he isn't just the best high-flying wrestler in the UK, but
the best high-flyer in the world today.
Up next on Hammerlock TV was a TV Title rankings match between number 3
contender Muerte de Antedicho and number 4 contender Hiro Kakuhari. The two men
will swap places if Kakuhari is victorious. There should be an interesting clash
of styles here between Kakuhari's Japanese game and Antedicho's aerial tactics.
Match highlights:
Muerte de Antedicho's high-flying assault was too much for Hiro Kakuhari at the
beginning of this contest. He nailed the Japanese superstar with a springboard
dropkick and followed up with a screwdriver for two. Kakuhari blocked a Diamond
Dust attempt and scored with a German suplex for a near fall. Kakuhari kicked
out of a standing moonsault. Kakuhari tore away at Antedicho's mask which earned
a warning from the official. Both men scored quick near falls; Kakuhari with a
handspring elbow and Antedicho with an inside cradle. In the end, Kakuhari was
able to avenge his elimination from last week's ranking match. He blasted
Antedicho with a clothesline and then kicked him hard in the head before putting
him away with the Rising Star Suplex.
Hiro Kakuhari pinned Muerte de Antedicho with the Rising Star Suplex in
0:05:15

Highlights were shown of last Saturday night's Heavyweight Championship bout
between Jason Prentice and The Punisher, which ended in a controversial
forty-five minute draw. Chris Freeman revealed that Prentice and The Punisher
will meet for the title one more time at Back 2 School in a no time limit match!
After that mammoth announcement, an angry looking Ben Winter marched out to the
ring accompanied by Victoria Silvstedt for his match-up with Delo from Young
Posso Fleeto No.1.
Match highlights:
Ben Winter completely dominated Delo here. The Iceman avoided a legsweep and
throttled Delo in a choke lift. Winter slammed Delo down hard on the mat and
then levelled him with a clothesline. The Iceman thumped Delo with an elbow off
the ropes and then applied the Deep Freeze for an instant tap out.
Ben Winter made Delo submit to the Deep Freeze in 0:01:19.
Rating: **
Victoria Silvstedt took the microphone after the squash and claimed that she and
Ben Winter were irate that The Punisher was being given yet another shot at the
Heavyweight Championship. Victoria said that The Iceman hadn't been beaten in
two months while The Punisher had had two shots at the gold and failed both
times. She said that Winter deserved the title shot at Back 2 School more than
the Punisher and added that they would fight this decision all the way.

Backstage, Kelly interviewed Steve Bailey. Kelly asked Bailey what he thought
about Byson going around making everyone say "I Quit" to his dangerous new
keylock submission hold. Bailey claimed that Byson could make as many ring
announcers, ring crew members or janitors give up as he wanted, but it would be
a different story at Back 2 School. Bailey said that instead of tying Byson up
in knots with technical holds, he was just going to make Byson scream "I Quit!"
by beating him into submission...with this. Bailey then produced a barbed wire
baseball bat!!
Match highlights:
Steve Bailey dropped Anthony DeAngelo with a spin kick and a backbreaker, but
then DeAngelo surprised Bailey with a 69er Driver out of nowhere. It was much
too early in the match-up though as Bailey kicked out. Bailey locked in a
bow-and-arrow submission and then later an armbar submission as the commentators
pondered whether Bailey was looking to make DeAngelo submit as practice for his
I Quit match with Byson. Bailey executed the Sawn-Off Shotgun but Serenity put
her charge's foot on the rope. Steve Bailey picked up a two count with a rana
and then hit a flying somersault splash. Bailey nailed DeAngelo with the Pistol
Whip, but Serenity distracted the ref! The crowd erupted as Bailey grabbed
Serenity and drilled her with the Pistol Whip!! As the referee tended to
Serenity, DeAngelo kicked Bailey low. Bailey refused to give up to an abdominal
stretch or a figure-four leglock. Bailey was victorious as he managed to hit the
Pistol Whip again and DeAngelo went down for the three count.
Steve Bailey pinned Anthony DeAngelo with the Pistol Whip in 0:13:30.
Rating: **** 1/4
[Serenity interfered against Steve Bailey.]
After the bout Byson stormed the ring and jumped Steve Bailey, bashing his right
arm with a steel chair!! Bailey his the deck clutching his arm in agony as the
fans booed Byson out of the building. Byson threw the referee down and then
applied the keylock to Bailey's injured limb. Bailey thrashed around the mat in
a world of hurt but he couldn't escape Byson's vice-like grip. Byson yelled at
Bailey to say the words. Eventually an army of officials and road agents were
able to drag Byson off, leaving Bailey rolling around on the canvas nursing his
arm. The announcers wondered what kind of damage Byson had done as Hammerlock TV
drew to a close.
Circuit information:
What a night on Hammerlock TV as more matches were signed for Back 2 School!
Undoubtedly the biggest news is that Jason Prentice will defend the NWA-UK
Hammerlock Heavyweight Title against The Punisher for the third and final time
at Back 2 School. After their controversial forty-five minute time limit draw
last week, this bout will be fought under no time constraints. We will hopefully
get a clear winner this time and that should please everyone. Everyone except
Ben Winter it seems, who felt he deserved the next crack at the gold. There's no
doubt that The Iceman has earned a shot as he has not lost a match since he
returned to Hammerlock. Quite what Ben Winter and Victoria Silvstedt plan to do
at this point is unclear, but we'll bring you details if and when we get them.
Byson's sickening attack on Steve Bailey at the end of the show gives him the
distinct advantage going into their I Quit Match at Back 2 School. Byson has
softened up Bailey for that keylock that Byson has been perfecting lately.
Bailey refused to get his arm x-rayed at a local hospital and is keeping
whatever injuries he suffered tonight a closely guarded secret.
The situation between Mystikal and Kontraband is a puzzling one. Mystikal has
been acting very strangely ever since he failed to wrestle the TV Title away
from Bryan Campbell at Heatwave. Kontraband had his pin stolen by Mystikal
tonight in their tag team victory over The Aristocrats and that was apparently
the last straw for Kontraband, who challenged Mystikal to a match at Back 2
School. Mystikal now has the chance to make us believe all of his hype.
Big wins this evening for Jawaid Kaleeq and Hiro Kakuhari, who will soon be
breathing down the neck of Bryan Campbell for a shot at the Blue Chipper's
Television Championship.
